Tormore

Despite its Victorian futurist style, Tormore distillery was actually founded in 1958, and was the first new distillery to be built in Speyside during the 20th century.

The physical building is about as eye catching as a distillery can be, evoking Jules Verne and Roald Dhal in one go; it was intended to be a ‘showpiece’ and the distillery has crisp white buildings with ornate features, a fountain, a curling lake and decorative landscaping.
