Nose
Thick set vanilla custard glazed with soft muscovado sugar is accompanied by plump sultanas, raisins, and currants. Hints of almond marzipan begin to come through with a subtle sherry note.
Taste
Full-bodied; mouth-warming chilli then fades to reveal dates, prunes, and treacle. Fruit and nut chocolate flavours come to the fore with roasted chestnuts.
Finish
Woody undertones linger with dried fruit nuances.
