Created in 1968 by whisky visionary, George Urquhart, over the years this range has featured single malts from almost 100 Scottish distilleries. Comprising more than 2,000 individual bottlings, each Connoisseurs Choice tells its life story through its label: cask type, bottling date, strength, vintage and tasting note.
Nose
Rich FRUITCAKE and LEMON ZEST aromas give way to ROASTED HAZELNUT. CINNAMON spice comes to the fore alongside subtle RAISIN with a hint of VANILLA FUDGE.
Taste
Mouth-warming BLACK PEPPER softens to DARK CHOCOLATE and sweet BLACK TREACLE. STEWED FRUIT develops alongside gentle DRIED TOBACCO and a hint of TOASTED OAK.
Finish
Medium-bodied; smooth and creamy with lingering BLACK CHERRY.
